Questions

Bone-strength training FAQ

Is strength training safe if I have osteoporosis?

Ask your doctor. It depends on your bone density, your history and any past fractures. Tell us what they said and your coach will plan around it.

Do I need my doctor’s OK before starting?

Yes, please check with your doctor first and bring any limits they gave you to your first visit.

Does Prestige diagnose or treat osteoporosis?

No. We’re a gym. Our coaches don’t diagnose, treat or prescribe anything. We coach strength and balance and follow your doctor’s guidance.

What does a session look like?

A warm-up, then strength exercises, balance practice and posture work with your coach. We adjust it to how you feel that day.

Is this only for older adults?

No. We plan it around you, whatever your age. If you’re over 50, see training for adults over 50.

How do I start?

Request a free consultation or call (520) 334-0205. We’ll talk about your goals and your doctor’s guidance, then book your Longevity Assessment.
